Serve this stir-fry over steamed rice or noodles, and garnish with green onions for a meal that will leave you satisfied and craving more.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef: In a bowl, toss the sliced beef with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Cook the Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef in a single layer and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until the beef is browned but not fully cooked. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  4. Stir-Fry the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the onion, bell pepper, and snap peas, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Combine and Finish: Return the beef to the skillet, pour in the prepared sauce, and stir everything together. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the beef is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened slightly.
  6. Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
