Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup red cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup pickled ginger
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into thin strips
  • Soy sauce, for serving
  • Optional: sliced green onions, microgreens, or radish slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sushi Rice:
    • Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a medium pot, combine the rice and water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes until the water is absorbed.
    • In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Once the rice is cooked, remove from heat and gently fold in the vinegar mixture. Allow the rice to cool slightly.
  2. Make the Dynamite Sauce:
