Chicken Caesar Wraps

Chicken Caesar wraps are a quick and delicious meal perfect for lunch or a light dinner. Combining the flavors of a classic Caesar salad with the convenience of a handheld wrap, these are great for those on the go. The creamy Caesar dressing, tender chicken, crisp Romaine lettuce, and shaved Parmesan cheese come together beautifully inside a soft tortilla. You can add a twist by including some bacon or avocado for extra richness. These wraps are perfect for meal prep, a picnic, or a casual weeknight meal when you’re craving something light yet satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • ½ cup Caesar dressing
  • ¼ cup shaved Parmesan cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • ½ cup croutons (optional)
  • Cooked bacon slices or avocado (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, and cook the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, until fully cooked and golden brown. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.
  2. Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, combine the chopped Romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, and Parmesan cheese. Toss to coat the lettuce evenly.
  3. Assemble the wraps: Lay out the tortillas on a flat surface. Place a few strips of chicken down the center of each tortilla. Add a generous portion of the dressed lettuce mixture, and sprinkle croutons on top if using. You can also add cooked bacon slices or avocado for extra flavor.
  4. Wrap it up: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll from the bottom up, tucking the edges in to secure the wrap.
  5. Serve and enjoy! You can slice the wraps in half for easier eating or pack them for a to-go meal.
