Cajun Meatloaf

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • ½ pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup ketchup (for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, celery, garlic, and eggs.
  3. Add the milk, Worcestershire sauce, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, thyme, hot sauce (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.
