Instructions

  1. Season and sear the beef:
    • Season the beef cubes with salt and black pepper. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the beef cubes in batches and sear until browned on all sides. Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.
