  • 1½ lbs bluefish fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (or ½ tsp dried thyme)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

  2. Place the bluefish fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush the olive oil mixture generously over the bluefish fillets, making sure they are well coated.
  5. Bake the bluefish for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. The cooking time will depend on the thickness of your fillets.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a minute or two. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh parsley, if desired.
