Grilled Brie with Peaches

Grilled Brie with Peaches is a delightful combination of creamy, gooey cheese and sweet, juicy peaches, making it a perfect appetizer for any gathering. The warmth of the grill enhances the natural flavors of the Brie, while the caramelization of the peaches adds a layer of sweetness and depth. Topped with a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of fresh herbs, this dish is not only visually stunning but also a harmonious blend of textures and flavors that will impress your guests.

Ingredients:

  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese (about 8 ounces)
  • 2 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary leaves, for garnish
  • Crusty bread or crackers, for serving
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Grill:
    • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).
  2. Prepare the Peaches:
    • Brush the cut sides of the peach halves with olive oil and season with a little salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the Peaches:
    • Place the peaches, cut side down, on the grill. Grill for 3-4 minutes or until they are nicely caramelized and have grill marks. Flip and grill for another 2 minutes. Remove from the grill and set aside.
  4. Grill the Brie:
    • Place the Brie on the grill and close the lid. Grill for about 3-4 minutes until the Brie is warm and the rind is slightly charred. Be careful not to overcook it, as the cheese can melt through the rind.
  5. Assemble the Dish:
    • Place the grilled Brie on a serving platter. Arrange the grilled peaches around the Brie. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with fresh thyme or rosemary leaves.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve immediately with slices of crusty bread or crackers for dipping.

Enjoy your delicious Grilled Brie with Peaches as an appetizer or a delightful snack!
