Parmesan Crisps

Parmesan crisps are a simple yet elegant snack or garnish that can elevate any dish. These crispy, cheesy delights are made with just one ingredient—Parmesan cheese. Whether served on a charcuterie board, paired with soup, or crumbled over salads, Parmesan crisps offer a rich, nutty flavor and a satisfyingly crunchy texture. They’re naturally gluten-free and low-carb, making them a guilt-free treat. Best of all, they take only minutes to prepare and bake, making them a quick go-to for last-minute entertaining or meal enhancements.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Prepare the Cheese: Grate Parmesan cheese finely using a microplane or a fine grater.
  3. Form the Crisps: Place small mounds (about 1 tablespoon each) of grated Parmesan onto the prepared baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart. Gently flatten each mound with the back of a spoon to form thin rounds.
  4. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 5–7 minutes, or until the crisps turn golden and bubbly.
  5. Cool and Serve: Remove the crisps from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a minute, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy these Parmesan crisps on their own or as an accompaniment to your favorite dish!
