Loaded Caprese Grilled Cheese

This Loaded Caprese Grilled Cheese takes the classic sandwich to a whole new level. Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of sourdough bread
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 large ripe tomato, sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves (about 10-12)
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or softened butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Pesto for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the bread: Lay out the slices of sourdough bread. If you’re using pesto, spread a thin layer on one side of each slice.
