Chicken Patties

Chicken patties are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways—whether served on a bun as a sandwich, with a side of salad, or as a snack on their own. These patties are made with ground chicken mixed with flavorful herbs and spices, then pan-fried or baked to golden perfection. Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, garlic, parsley, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4-6 equal portions, shaping each one into a round patty.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  4. Alternatively, you can bake the patties in a preheated oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until fully cooked.
  5. Once cooked, remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
