The air fryer makes them lighter than traditional deep-fried croquettes while still delivering that satisfying crunch. Serve these tasty croquettes with a dipping sauce or a side salad for a delightful and versatile dish that everyone will love.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked turkey, finely chopped
  • 1 cup mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the mixture:
    • In a large bowl, combine the chopped turkey, mashed potatoes, onion, celery, parsley, garlic powder, dried thyme, dried sage, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
    • Shape the mixture into small balls or patties, about 1-2 inches in diameter.
  2. Coat the croquettes:
    • Set up a breading station with the beaten egg in one bowl and the breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan cheese in another bowl.
    • Dip each turkey ball or patty into the egg, allowing any excess to drip off, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere the crumbs to the surface.
  3. Preheat the air fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Air-fry the croquettes:
    • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
    • Place the breaded croquettes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch or overlap. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches.
    • Lightly spray the tops of the croquettes with cooking spray.
    • Air fry the croquettes for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
  5. Serve and enjoy:
    • Remove the croquettes from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
    • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or a side salad.

Enjoy your delicious and crispy Air-Fryer Turkey Croquettes!
