Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Place each chicken breast between two sheets of plastic wrap or parchment paper. Using a meat mallet or rolling pin, pound the chicken to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.
  2. Set Up the Breading Station:
    • In three separate shallow bowls, set up the breading station. In the first bowl, place the all-purpose flour. In the second bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. In the third bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Bread the Chicken:
    • Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off any excess. Dip it into the egg mixture, ensuring it is fully coated, then press it into the breadcrumb mixture, coating evenly. Repeat with all chicken breasts.
  4. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Air Fry the Chicken:
    • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the breaded chicken cutlets in a single layer in the basket, making sure they do not overlap. Lightly spray the tops of the cutlets with cooking spray.
    • Air fry the chicken at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the cutlets are golden brown and cooked through, with an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Serve:
    • Remove the chicken cutlets from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

Enjoy these Air Fryer Chicken Cutlets as a quick and satisfying meal that offers all the crunch and flavor of fried chicken with less oil and fuss, perfect for any occasion.
