Ingredients:

  • 2 racks of pork ribs (about 4-5 pounds total)
  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ribs:
    • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
    • Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Pat them dry with paper towels and set them aside.
  2. Make the Maple Glaze:
    • In a medium saucepan, combine the maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and brown sugar.
    • Stir in the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
    • Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens slightly, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Coat the Ribs:
    • Place the ribs on a large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
    • Brush the ribs generously with the maple glaze on both sides, reserving some glaze for basting later.
  4. Bake the Ribs:
    • Cover the ribs tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2 to 2.5 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat easily pulls away from the bone.
  5. Glaze and Finish:
    • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (or set your oven to broil).
    • Remove the ribs from the oven and brush them with more of the reserved glaze.
    • Grill or broil the ribs for an additional 5-10 minutes, basting occasionally, until the glaze is caramelized and sticky.
  6. Serve:
    • Allow the ribs to rest for a few minutes before slicing.
    • Serve with additional glaze on the side for dipping.

Enjoy your delicious maple-glazed ribs with your favorite sides for a truly memorable meal!
