Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup whole milk or almond milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, eggs, milk, lemon or orange zest, juice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
